Covers for a Cause- Woodstock & Summer of Love edition – July 26th

Wednesday 26 July, 5:00 pm

Love is in the air & we’re thrilled to announce our next edition of Covers for a Cause featuring Woodstock & The Summer of Love edition.

Calling out to all you flower children, we are getting ready to celebrate one of the era’s where the magic happened. On Wednesday July 26th, we’re throwing a tribute to the music that changed the world. You can expect music of the late 60’s, early 70’s and artists from the likes of The Doors, The Beatles, Grateful Dead, the Animals, Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Yard Birds, John Lennon….the list goes on.

We have some special guest artists joining us, and are excited to announce that The Doors Experience will be playing 2 sets, and have an exciting support line up…stay tuned.

Covers for a Cause is a quarterly event, that brings together some of Sydney’s most loved musicians to raise money for a selected charity. This time round we will be raising funds for Greenpeace. Greenpeace is an international organization that prioritizes global environmental campaigns. You can read more/donate here: http://www.greenpeace.org/

We will donate a gold coin for every food and drink item we sell on the night. Plus we’ll be giving people other extra opportunities to donate themselves. WED July 26th- Save the date in your diary guys, we’d really like to raise as much as possible for a worthy cause! Over the past 4 years, with all your support & Covers for a Cause Events, we have been able to raise over $50,000 across National & International Charities- let’s keep going!
