On Monday 25th March, The Monday Jam along with The Soda Factory celebrate what would have been The Queen of Soul’s 77th Birthday!
The American singer/songwriter received numerous honours throughout her career, ranked No 1. Greatest singer of all time, and became the first woman inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. She was a Pioneer of the Soul/Motown era, as well as a strong advocate of numerous movements worldwide including Civil, Cultural and Women’s rights. We raise our glass to her outstanding contribution and inspiration to the music industry.
Paying homage to Aretha’s incredible talent & impact on music, The New Ojeez House Band will be playing a set of her most loved tracks, followed by a night of jaming in her honour ♥
