Sunday 02 April, 5:00 pm

Entering their 30th year, Exploding Happiness, Sydney’s favourite Funk & World Music Collective, are committed to helping Sydney Get Their Groove Back. They are achieving this through an occasional series called The Exploding Festival. Getting Sydney’s grooviest bands under one roof to help you restore your rhythm and blow away the blues. Tonight’s Festival showcases:

Exploding Happiness – 9-piece collective of big & chunky funky tunes. A diverse mix of your favourite classics and our own compositions

Night Radio – the Australian Gothic sound hewed from our unique landscape

Equa Hey – Cuban classics supplemented by the best of Colombia, Brazil and all grooves Latin

Gustavo Swing – put your dancing shoes on and Jump, Jive & Swing.

…and your MC for the evening Plague of David – everybody’s favourite Bard of Brisbane whose poetry will make you laugh & make you think!
