Soda’s Sunday Social presents Double For Nothing

Sydney’s REAL MOXY and JESSE JUDIES are launching a double single and celebrating with a massive free show at the Soda Factory!
Supported by acclaimed Central Coast songwriter Brandon Duff, these twin titans of towering indie pop will be releasing singles Love Struck Romeo & I’ve Been There Before in tandem.
REAL MOXY began as one of many countless lockdown projects in 2020, their lush and carefully crafted songwriting taking shape via correspondence and a shared google drive. It was soon realised they had something special, and once they were allowed out of the house, the band blossomed into a full 4 piece band. Over the next few years, Real Moxy honed their live show, bringing a joyous mess of guitars, synths, samples & vocal harmonies to the stage.
Their upcoming single Love Struck Romeo is the first official release from their upcoming debut album.
JESSE JUDIES is the moniker of Sydney based songwriter/producer, Nick Bray. Bray began producing music as Jesse Judies in San Francisco in 2018, when he embarked on his first full length record Thoughts In A Loop. Shortly after wrapping the final touches on TIAL, Bray relocated to Sydney in April 2020 to avoid being separated from his Aussie partner during the Covid lockdowns. Though torn from his San Francisco roots, Bray stayed busy during the pandemic and released Thoughts In A Loop in early 2021.
Since then, Bray has been hard at work on a new record entitled Coup De Foudre, which documents the experience of uprooting himself during the pandemic and finding his footing in Australia. The first single off CDF, I’ve Been There Before, is set to be released with a video and b-side in July 2023.
BRANDON DUFF is a singer/songwriter based on the Central Coast. His unique pop influenced sound combines contemporary melodies with vivid soundscapes to create his own lane in modern music. He’s opened for Sneaky Sound System, Daryl Braithwaite and the Hoodoo Gurus.
